3/26/12 The Magic Bus Cafe would like to announce a major development! We are moving to Colorado this season. We would like to sincerely thank all of our fans and customers over the past years for helping make our dream come true. 11/22/11 Well our third season on the bus was certainly our best and again a big Thank You to all who helped make it great. Our final event at Art Attack at The Northrup King Building was awesome and thankfully graced with mild weather. Check Back in the early spring 2012 for updates on the bus and our plans for the new year.
9/20/11 As the summer comes to a close and our weather shifts gears we find ourselves thankful for a wonderful season so far. Thanks to all who have come to the bus this year, old friends and new. Last weekend we had a blast at the biannual King's Fair located conveniently across the street from our house in the beautiful Seward neighborhood. Check the calendar for the rest of our events this season culminating in our 3rd annual visit to Art Attack at the Northup King Building in NE Mpls.
8/8/11 Another awesome Loring Park Art Festival this pass weekend thanks to all who stopped by the bus. This upcoming Saturday promises to be another excellent MN Garlic Festival as well in Hutchinson. We are also very excited to be providing food at The Indigenous Music and Movies series at Father Hennepin Park in Mpls on Aug 9th and 23rd. 7/25/11 July has been exciting and busy for the Magic Bus Cafe and staff. We are proud to be named 6th in the top ten food trucks in the twin cities according to the Vitamin readers. And we had a blast on the Buzz and Doing an online add with TV celeb Andrew Zimmern for CasCal sodas. August promises to be fun filled as well with highlights being Loring Park art fair, Minnesota Garlic festival in Hutchinson and Soundtown Music festival in Somerset Wi.
7/7/11 We hope everyone had a fun and safe fourth of July. The10 Second film festival was a blast. Next Thursday look for the bus from 9-10 on Channel 9 Morning Buzz. They will be featuring us throughout the hour. We are also excited to announce an additional Food Truck court starting up on Mondays in St. Paul on Cedar at Exchange 11-130. Beer Dabbler beer tasting is also just around the corner, see our Where's the bus page for Links to that and all of our events.
6/22/11 We have been having a great summer so far on the bus. We have received a lot of great press and the bus has been hoppin'. We are also looking forward to some cool upcoming events like the Ten Second Film Festival on July 4 as well as our regular markets and lunches. 5/27/11 Amazing turnout for Art a Whirl in spite of the weather and a thanks to all came out and especially Deb from Northrup King. This Saturday brings us back to our favorite farmers market- Midtown Farmers Market located on Lake street at 22nd, one visit and you will know what all the buzz is about. Sat 8-1
5/19/11 One of the Twin Cities most exciting art events is this weekend. Art A Whirl is an awesome area wide art crawl in Northeast Minneapolis arts district We will be located in the parking lot of the Northrup King Building, come on down have a dog and see some awesome art.http://www.northrupkingbuilding.com/
4/22/11 Well the 10 day weather outlook is showing good signs for Mayday. We are bursting with excitement for our kickoff event and have even added a favorite dog from last season to our permanent menu. Look for the Peace Frog dog topped with a salad of cucumber, tomato and basil vinaigrette, it was a big hit when featured as a special. See you all next Sunday.
3/7/11 We sure are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces at our first gig of the year which will be Mayday in Powderhorn park, Mpls. If you have never attended this legendary event make this the year you come out, you will not regret it! Also a reminder if you come down and eat before the parade you will avoid the inevitable lines that will form after.
